Questions & answers

What MyAudioMessage does, what it does not, and how a batch actually runs.

Is the voice real, or is it AI-generated?

It is a real human voice. MyAudioMessage does not synthesise or clone anything — the names are recorded by a person, so each recipient hears an actual person saying their actual name.

Do I have to record every name myself?

Yes. Each name is recorded once, in the browser one at a time, or uploaded as a folder of clips recorded elsewhere. Several hundred first names takes roughly twenty minutes, and the clips are reusable afterwards.

How many messages can one recording session produce?

Hundreds. The shared parts — an intro, an outro — are recorded once, plus one short clip per recipient, and every combination is assembled for you. The recording time scales with the number of names, not with the number of finished files.

How long does a large batch take to assemble?

A few minutes, even for several hundred recipients. Assembly runs on the server, so the tab can be closed while it works; the batch is marked ready when it is done.

How do I send the finished messages?

MyAudioMessage produces the files; you send them however you already reach people. Each output is named after the recipient it is for, so nothing needs renaming first. Attach them to email, load them into a dialer or voicemail tool, or send them as voice notes. Each recipient's file can also be given its own private link that downloads without signing in.

Do I need audio editing software?

No. Recording, trimming and assembly all happen in the browser and on the server. The browser recorder gives you a countdown before it captures and a waveform trimmer before a clip is used, with a ceiling of five minutes per clip.

What audio formats can I use?

Fifteen input formats are accepted, including the ones phones and voicemail systems produce: MP3, WAV, M4A, AIFF, AMR, 3GP, WMA, OPUS and more. Finished batches can be delivered as MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG.

Can I reuse a set of recorded names for another campaign?

Yes. Saved clips live in a clip library organised into folders, which in practice means one folder per client or campaign. A folder of names recorded once can be used by any number of later batches without recording it again.

Can I run it from an AI assistant?

Yes, on the Pro plan. MyAudioMessage exposes an MCP connector and API keys, so an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT can add clips, start a batch and fetch the downloads without you opening the site.

What happens to my audio after a batch finishes?

Your clips and outputs stay in your account while it is in use, within your plan's storage allowance. Archived batches are deleted after 7 days, which frees the space they used, and failed or cancelled batches are cleared after 24 hours. On a free account unused for 180 days, stored batches and clips are deleted, after a warning email at least 30 days before. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.

Still deciding?

The free plan runs the whole workflow, with no card needed.
